1933 Goudey Baseball Set + 100 1909-11 Tobacco cards featuring Babe Ruth (5), Lou Gehrig (4), & Ty Cobb (2)
This vintage collection was passed down through multiple generations, ending up in the hands of Rob. When he acquired the 1933 Goudeys from his father's childhood (in the mid 1970s), he decided to complete the 239 card set. And that is exactly what he did! This set, plus to 100s of tobacco cards he inherited from his grandfather, made for a very exciting purchase. Read about the find here

Jaw Dropping 1933 to 1961 Goudey, Topps, & Fleer Collection W/ Ruth, Gehrig, & Mantle!
This incredible multi-generation collection featured hundreds of 1930s Goudey cards including Lou Gehrig (5!), Babe Ruth (3!), Hank Greenberg (3!), and Joe Dimaggio. Also present were several hundred 1950s Topps cards (highlighted by 1952 Bowman & 1953 Topps Mickey Mantles), plus many 1961 Fleer Basketball cards (including 4 Wilt Chamberlin RCs, 2 Jerry West RCs, & 2 Bill Russells). T206 & T205 Tobacco Card Hoard
This collection featured over 200 tobacco cards, most of which where T206s & T205s. The owner acquired these cards in the 1980's, picking up a few cards at a time while at local shows. Highlights included a Ty Cobb Red Portrait, Christy Mathewson Portrait, Nap Lajoie, and about 25 other hall of famers! Check out the story in our blog

1950s Topps Baseball Collection w/ 4 Jackie Robinsons
This 1950's Topps original owner collection featured cards ranging from 1953 to 1958. There were a handful from 1953-55 Topps cards ('53 Jackie Robinson, '54 Ted Williams, '55 Harmon Killebrew), but the real fireworks started in 1956. Cards of Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, Sandy Koufax, and Ted Williams, along with 3 (yes 3!) Jackie Robinsons were found! 1960s Topps cards still in original boxes
Found in the basement of an old home in Detroit, this collection featured 7 original Topps wax pack boxes. Even more interesting, the boxes were full of mint cards! Boxes present for baseball were 1968, 1969 (2), 1970, and 1974 (factory set). For football, 1968 and 1969 Topps boxes were included (along with cards from '67 and '70). Check out the artwork on these! It appears the original owner opened up the packs and placed them right back into the boxes. Highlights included names like Bench (RC), Aaron, Mays, Mantle, Jackson (RC), Ryan, Clemente, Namath, Sayers, Piccolo, Unitas, and many more. The 1969 Topps box contained a handful of tough to find white letter variations.

Schlitz Beer Case Packed With 2000 1950s Topps Cards
Robert reached out to us regarding his 1952-1959 Topps & Bowman collection. When we arrived to review his collection, he pulled out a Schlitz beer case. Almost 2000 cards were stored in this box! There were hundreds of cards from each year, and all the big names were present and in immaculate condition. Included were high grade near complete sets from 1955, 56, 57 and 58 Topps. 1958 featured many duplicates, including Mickey Mantle (3) and Hank Aaron (4). Another surprise contained in the box were 8 rare 1953 Glendale Hot Dogs Detroit Tigers cards.

Unreal 1935 Goudey Uncut Sheet
Check out this unbelievable uncut sheet of 1935 Goudey cards featuring Babe Ruth! Uncovered in a Brighton, Michigan closet by family members when going through their late father's belongings, it is one of only 5 known to exist. Besides Ruth, the sheet also includes Hall of Famers Dizzy Dean, Jimmie Foxx, Charlie Gehringer, Mickey Cochrane, and handful of others. Read more about this discovery here

1949 Leaf & 1950s Bowman Stash w/ Babe Ruth
Incredible 1949-1951 Bowman & Leaf collection found in Dearborn, Michigan. The only 2 Leaf cards were Babe Ruth and Stan Musial. The Bowman cards were extremely high grade and where highlighted by Ted Williams, Warren Spahn, Phil Rizzuto, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, and many more.

Gigantic 1960s Hall of Famer Run: 41 Mantles, 39 Aarons, 38 Mays, 24 Roses, plus 3 Ryan RCs
Hall of Famer overload! Fresh collection of 700 Hall of Famers including 41 Mickey Mantles, 39 Hank Aarons, and 38 Willie Mays cards acquired from family of original owner. This huge batch of cards included numerous rookies of big names such as Jim Brown, Tom Seaver, Rod Carew, Nolan Ryan (3), & Johhny Bench (4). The amount of duplication was unreal, especially from 1966. There were 14 Hank Aarons, 12 Pete Rose, and 6 Mickey Mantles.
