Family from Brighton, Michigan uncovered an uncut sheet of 1935 Goudey cards with their late fathers closet

A local Michigan family made an incredible discovery- an uncut sheet of1935 Goudey 4-in-1 baseball cards. The family was cleaning out a small apartment of their late father and discovered it in a closet, along with a scored 1935 World Series program. The family contacted Throwback Sports Cards, stating the 100% 5 star google rating was the reason they elected to reach out to us. The 1935 Goudey card are unique, in that every card contains 4 players within a 2 x 2 grid. The set is loaded with Hall of Famers, including Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Dizzy Dean, Charles Gehringer, Mickey Cochrane, and many others. The backs contain part of a puzzle, and cards could be put together to form the complete image. In the case of this sheet, the puzzle on the back features the 1934 Detroit Tigers, who won the American League pennant in 1934.
This sheet is in incredible shape consider its age. The colors are rich and vibrant, and despite a small amount of edge wear and a few wrinkles, presents nicely. The panel with the Babe Ruth is especially pristine. The sheet is incredibly rare, with only 4 others known to exist.

The family stated their Grandfather worked for a cigar company, so it is possible it was acquired through a connection at his job.
