Discover the value of the most important and iconic Ted Williams baseball cards

Ted Williams is widely regarded as the best hitter of all time. Williams was an avid student of the game, spending countless hours perfecting his swing. Blessed with an excellent batting eye, he would lead the A.L. in on base percentage 12 times during his 19 year career. He finished his career (all with the Boston Red Sox) with a batting average of .344, 521 home runs, 2,021 walks, and 1,839 RBI. Williams' numbers could have been significantly better, as he lost 3 years during the prime of his career to military service. He is also well known for being the last .400 hitter, when he finished the 1941 season with a batting average of .406. Williams also won 2 MVP awards during his career (1946 and 1949). The Hall of Fame came knocking and he was elected to Cooperstown in 1966.
