A collection of over 1000 Topps cards from the 1960s was recently purchased by Throwback Sports Cards from the family of the original owner!

While doing some spring cleaning of his basement, Dean re-discovered a large collection of baseball cards he inherited years earlier from his brother. He vividly remembers his brother working at his grandfather’s hobby shop, which he owned in the 1960s and 70s. Instead of

getting paid cash for working there, his brother instead accepted boxes & packs of cards! Dean stated the cards where just collecting dust and it was time to sell. He reached out to Throwback Sport Cards (due to our 5 star google rating) and an in-home evaluation was discovered. After reviewing the collecting, a fair offer was made and Dean was paid cash on the spot.

Highlights Of The Collection

This collection ranged from 1962 through 1969, with the majority being from 1969. The cards were in immaculate condition, many looking like they were pulled out of the pack yesterday.
