1954 Topps Set Description
You would be hard pressed to find another set with a stronger rookie class than 1954 Topps, bookended by another legend. This year contains rookies of some of the games greatest; Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, and Al Kaline. The set also starts and ends with Ted Williams (cards #1 and #250). Each of the 250 cards contains a portrait image and smaller black and white action shot of the player. The team logo is placed on the top of each card along with the player's name, position, and team. Backs include a player biography, stats, and "inside baseball" cartoon.
